From today, I am learning Spanish.
Well, I've been using Duolingo Spanish for a while now, since we planned our trip to Mexico. Though we were mostly in an organised group, we had some time to ourselves as well and some Spanish would be useful. As it turned out, my very basic Spanish, based on my knowledge of Italian and a few phrases in Spanish, did help a bit especially when it came to ordering food when out for dinner by ourselves.
Now I have made a decision to start a beginners' Spanish course with a real teacher here in Waterford. And I've signed up with a couple more online resources.
So here we go....
